I recently applied for what I thought was going to be my first big boy job, but now I'm feeling uncertain about my chances. I had a few hiccups in my application process, and I'm worried that I may have jeopardized my opportunity. I’ve been reading that employers usually don’t mind a few days of discrepancies in employment dates, but I’m still anxious about how this might affect my chances. I understand they mainly check the jobs I listed to verify my employment, focusing on the dates and roles I claimed. I just hope I can still secure this position, as I haven't received a firm offer yet.
