I’m currently unemployed and struggling to find a job that matches my experience. I’m a 9-year Navy veteran with a background in administrative roles and some IT support. I believe I should qualify for positions that pay around $80k, but I’m having a tough time locating relevant opportunities. I’ve been focusing on government jobs since I’d like to have benefits, but sites like governmentjobs.com and my state job board haven’t been helpful. Most of the job matches I get are only 50% aligned with my skills, which is frustrating. I’ve applied to numerous positions, but I either receive no responses, get rejections, or have interviews that lead to rejection emails weeks later. It’s disheartening, and I’m eager to find steady employment to support my family. I’m wondering if there are any reputable recruiting services that could assist me in my job search.
