I've been on the job hunt since March 2025, right after graduating with my master's in May 2025. I managed to secure a temporary position through my professor in September 2025, but now I'm back to searching for a new job. Over the past couple of years, I've applied to around 600-700 jobs and only landed about 9-10 interviews, none of which turned into offers. Since July, I've ramped up my efforts again and submitted about 100 applications, but I haven't received a single interview this time around. I've been using AI tools like Claude and ChatGPT to tailor my resumes, focusing on incorporating the right keywords. However, I keep seeing posts from others who have used AI for automating their job applications and have had great success. I'm starting to wonder if my lack of AI automation is holding me back. I didn't expect such a drastic change in my interview opportunities, and I'm feeling a bit lost about what to do next as I prepare for another round of job searching.
