I’ve been noticing a significant decline in overseas companies hiring from India lately. In the past, recruiters would actively reach out to Indian professionals and set up discovery calls, but now it feels like I’m just not hearing back at all. It’s frustrating to see this shift, as it seems like there was once a time when Indian talent was in high demand. I wonder if the perception of talent quality has changed, as some people argue that Indian professionals are only suitable for basic roles, while American companies prefer hiring locally for more technical positions. It’s disheartening to see this trend, especially when I’ve put in so much effort to build my skills.
