I was recently contacted by SGS Consulting regarding a job opportunity in my area. The call came from a number based in New Jersey, which raised some questions since I don't live there. The caller had an Indian accent, and while that doesn't necessarily mean anything negative, it did make me a bit cautious. During the call, I was asked typical questions about my education—specifically if I had transcripts since I graduated high school last month. They also inquired about my driver's license, availability, and work experience. I was informed that I would receive a follow-up call from the manager later in the day and was instructed to reply to the initial email with "I accept/I confirm" along with a copy of my diploma as proof of my education. The position was mentioned to have a minimum pay of $20 per hour for a two-month period, with the possibility of an extension. I’m curious if anyone has had experience with SGS Consulting or knows if this would be a good opportunity for someone like me who is about to enter college. I’m also willing to share photos of the email for further context.
