I recently completed 200 job applications, and it has been quite a journey. I've spent years thinking that if I just improve my skills, job offers would come pouring in. However, I've realized that the three job offers I received were all due to networking—either through someone I knew or by being one of the first to apply for a position. It seems that while skills can help me during the interview, they don't necessarily get me to the interview stage in the first place. I'm curious about how others are navigating their job searches.
