I recently came across a discussion about working at Revolut, specifically regarding the probation period, and it raised some red flags for me. A former employee shared their experience on LinkedIn, detailing how they faced significant challenges during their training. They mentioned that their buddy was often unavailable, which left them feeling unsupported. When they raised concerns with their Team Lead, it seems like nothing changed. As they approached the end of their probation, they received multiple quality failures and were given a very short window of about 10 to 15 days to improve. Just days before their probation was set to conclude, they were placed on 14 days of gardening leave, with the message that their employment would end, although they were told it wasn't technically a termination. This situation struck me as quite concerning, especially since I've seen similar accounts from others who have worked at Revolut, particularly in roles related to Operations, FinCrime, AML, KYC, or Risk teams in India. I was seriously considering applying to Revolut, but these experiences make me hesitant. I'm eager to hear from anyone who has worked there about their own experiences, particularly regarding training, support, quality expectations, and overall job security. I want to understand if these issues are widespread or if they are just isolated incidents. If you have insights, please share!
