I recently received a job offer that initially seemed fantastic and filled me with excitement. However, as I dug deeper into the details, I discovered that the benefits package was quite lacking. They only offered to cover 50% of a bronze health plan, which would end up costing me around $2,500 a month for coverage that isn’t even that great. This has thrown me into a state of anxiety because I absolutely despise my current job and am desperate to leave, but the numbers just don’t add up. I'm not very good with change or dealing with the unknown, so this decision is weighing heavily on me.
