I had to withdraw from an interview I was really looking forward to. I received a panel interview request for a role at a tech company, and I was excited to showcase my skills. I prepared thoroughly and even researched the company. However, just 20 minutes before the interview, they sent me a list of specific questions that were related to their internal processes, which I had no familiarity with. I tried to use ChatGPT to help formulate responses, but I realized I would just end up sounding unprepared and out of my depth. Instead of going into the interview and potentially embarrassing myself, I decided to be honest and withdrew my application. It’s disappointing, but I guess it’s back to the drawing board for me.
