I've been unemployed for almost six months now, and I'm feeling completely lost. Earlier this year, I was let go from my job after six years due to a restructuring that left me with a manager who didn't support my growth. Despite my hard work and dedication, I was let go for "poor performance" without ever having any issues before. Since then, I've been applying to jobs non-stop, tweaking my resume with help from mentors and a career coach, and even expanding my search to different roles and locations. Yet, I've received no interviews at all. I keep getting rejections or being ghosted, and it's incredibly disheartening. Recently, I applied for three entry-level positions that seemed like a perfect match for my qualifications and experience. I was confident that I would at least get an interview, but I was rejected from all three without any explanation. It's frustrating to think that I'm not even qualified enough for jobs where I meet all the requirements. With my unemployment benefits about to run out, I'm starting to feel hopeless. I know the job market is tough right now, but I can't help but wonder what I'm doing wrong. I just want to find a job where I can contribute and grow again.
