I was laid off from my position two weeks ago and my manager assured me that I would receive an extra week of pay to help me transition. I was expecting this payment last Thursday, but it never came through. Since Friday was a holiday, I gave it until today, but still nothing. I reached out via text this morning but haven't heard back yet. I've also applied for unemployment benefits, but that process isn't finalized, and I haven't received any payments yet.
