I recently interviewed for a position and had a great initial conversation, which led to an online interview scheduled for September 3rd. After that interview, I felt positive about the outcome, and they mentioned they would get back to me the following week. However, when September 11th rolled around and I hadn’t received any updates, I was a bit anxious. On September 15th, I was pleasantly surprised to be invited for a second interview, which also went well. They assured me they would reach out the following week again. Fast forward to September 24th, and still no word. I decided to send a follow-up email, and they responded, explaining that the person I had been communicating with was traveling that week and would contact me in the first few days of the following week. Now, it’s October 2nd, and I’m still waiting. I’m torn about whether to send another follow-up email or if that would come off as too pushy. I don’t want to annoy them, but my current lease is ending soon, and this job opportunity involves relocation, so I really need to know if I should start making plans. I’m looking for advice on whether I should reach out again or just wait it out.
