  1. 1

I'm a recent graduate from 2026 and currently working at a finance firm based in Europe. I interned there last summer and received a pre-placement offer in October 2025, which led to my full-time position starting in June 2026. Recently, I've been feeling uneasy about my job security. I've heard from my team that just two weeks before our joining date, there were discussions among higher management about potentially revoking the offers for everyone who received a PPO. Thankfully, my team managed to negotiate and we were allowed to start our roles. However, now that I've been in the position for three months, my manager has been consistently postponing our bi-weekly one-on-ones. During our weekly team meetings, he reassures us that our jobs are safe and that only external hires might be affected, but I can't shake the feeling that something is off. Additionally, our department is heavily investing in AI, and I've noticed that several members of upper management are leaving the firm. I'm starting to worry about the stability of my position and am considering starting to look for other job opportunities.
