I recently signed an offer for a position at a competitor and was set to start tomorrow. However, just before my start date, I noticed that the job I accepted was reposted on LinkedIn. I had gone through two interviews and everything seemed to be in order when I spoke to the CFO last Friday. I even signed the contract on Thursday and left my previous job in anticipation of this new role. Now, I'm feeling anxious about the situation. I did exaggerate some details on my resume, but I didn't think it would be a major issue. I'm worried that this reposting might mean something negative, but I also understand that companies sometimes repost jobs for various reasons, like having multiple openings or just to keep their listings updated. I hope everything will be fine when I start.
