I’m feeling really lost in my job search right now. I’ve been contemplating shaving my head as a way to reset my motivation, but I’m worried it might hurt my chances of being taken seriously in interviews. I haven’t even landed an interview yet, which is really frustrating. I turned down a prestigious grad school because I didn’t feel mentally ready and didn’t want to go into debt, but now I’m stuck in the same situation without a clear direction. My degree is in international studies and gender studies with a minor in English, and I currently have an unpaid internship at a nonprofit. I just want to know if anyone thinks shaving my head would negatively impact my job prospects.
