I feel completely lost right now. Over the past five months, I've applied to 600 jobs and only landed one interview, which I thought went really well. Unfortunately, they chose someone with more experience. I'm currently earning less than $45k a year, which is not enough to cover my living expenses, and I thought having a high-level security clearance would help me secure a better-paying job, but it hasn't. My mental health is suffering, and my confidence is at an all-time low. Everyone keeps telling me that I should be able to find a job easily with my qualifications and that I should be making at least $70k a year, but that hasn't been my experience at all. I've even had recruiters from well-known companies like CACI and Booz Allen reach out to me, but I always end up getting ghosted after they initially show interest. I just don't know what else to do.
