I'm 16 years old and currently a junior in high school. I've been on the hunt for an afterschool job that would allow me to work 2-3 days a week after school and on Saturdays. I have easy access to local subway transit, which should make commuting easier. However, despite applying to numerous places, I haven't received any responses yet. My family is putting pressure on me to find work quickly, as I need some money for social activities like hangouts and dates. I consider myself a good student with a solid work ethic, so I'm puzzled as to why I'm not getting any callbacks. I'm reaching out for advice on how to improve my job search and make it more effective. Any tips would be greatly appreciated!
