I recently completed my final interview for a position I was really excited about after going through four prior interviews that felt great. An executive even expressed that he was rooting for me, which boosted my confidence. The final stage involved a presentation and a Q&A session. I felt the presentation went well, and I received compliments on the details of my deck. However, during the Q&A, I struggled significantly. My anxiety took over, and I blanked multiple times, which was really frustrating. I know that they had a hiring huddle on Friday, but I haven't heard back yet. Throughout the process, I had received feedback very quickly—often within 12 hours—so the silence is making me anxious. I'm worried that I might have blown my chances at receiving an offer because of how poorly I handled the Q&A. I'm trying to stay hopeful, but the waiting is tough.
