I feel like I'm working to be unemployed, and it's really driving me nuts. I took my current job as a full-time worker, knowing the pay wouldn't be great, and I was okay with that. However, the issue is that my pay is incredibly inconsistent. Some weeks I earn a decent amount, while other weeks it's barely enough to get by. This fluctuation makes it nearly impossible to save money, as I never know if I'll have enough to cover my expenses. Honestly, my worst paycheck is only a few hundred dollars more than what I would receive if I were unemployed. It's frustrating to be doing a physically demanding job outdoors, only to find that the financial reward is so minimal. I initially started job hunting because I was going stir-crazy being unemployed, but now I'm seeking new opportunities because the stress from my current job's pay situation is overwhelming.
