I’ve been filing for unemployment in Virginia for a few months now, and today I noticed a change in the reporting requirements. Normally, I have to provide a lot of details for each job application, including the employer's name, address, phone number, and application link. However, today I only needed to input the employer's name. I’m wondering if this is a glitch in the system or if others have experienced the same thing. Additionally, I read that the benefit amounts increased on July 5, but I’m unsure if this adjustment is automatic or if I need to contact someone to ensure I receive the higher amount. I’d appreciate any insights from others who might have gone through this.
