I've been in the job application process with a company for the past few months and could really use some advice. I completed two interviews spaced out over several weeks. During these interviews, Talent Acquisition asked about my visa status since I would need an H-1B transfer. After the interviews, I was informed that my sponsorship request had been submitted and the hiring team expressed their intention to move forward with me, saying I should expect an offer soon. However, it's been almost three weeks now, and I still haven't received a formal offer or any clear timeline for the next steps. I've followed up with the hiring team multiple times, and while they said they would check on the status, I still haven't gotten any concrete updates. I sent another brief follow-up recently, but I'm starting to feel uncertain about the whole situation. I'm wondering if this delay indicates that the offer might be stuck in HR or if they could still be reconsidering my application. Is nearly three weeks a normal wait time after being told an offer is coming? At what point should I stop following up and just move on? I know nothing is final until I have a written offer, but I'm trying to gauge whether this timeline is typical, especially given the complexities of the H-1B transfer and sponsorship process.
