I had an interview yesterday at 11:30 a.m. for a remote position. The interviewers seemed genuinely interested in my experiences and mentioned that my background aligns perfectly with what they do. I felt a good vibe when I asked about the possibility of meeting in person, and the manager responded positively, suggesting we could grab a beer or coffee sometime. After the interview, they mentioned needing to have an internal discussion and promised to get back to me regardless of the outcome. It's now the following day, and I haven't heard anything yet. I'm feeling pretty nervous and tend to overthink these situations.
