I'm currently dealing with a frustrating situation regarding an unemployment overpayment issue in Louisiana. Back in 2022, I appealed a decision from the unemployment workforce related to COVID overpayments. However, I just received a notice stating that my petition has been dismissed due to abandonment, which I find confusing since I haven't heard anything from the court in four years. I called the unemployment office for guidance, but they seemed just as lost as I am.
