I recently applied for unemployment benefits in Michigan after losing my job. I'm planning to start applying for new positions soon, but I'm a bit confused about the requirements during the waiting period. I know that once I'm confirmed for benefits, I need to show proof of job applications, but I just submitted my application a few days ago. I'm wondering if I need to report any job applications I make within the first three weeks while I wait for a decision. I want to make sure I'm following the rules without overloading the already busy UIA staff.
