I was laid off last week from my position at a tech company, and to make matters more stressful, my due date is just a month away. I'm feeling overwhelmed and unsure about the next steps I should take. I've been advised to file for unemployment, but I'm also considering how to best prepare for the arrival of my baby while searching for a new job. Any advice or support would be greatly appreciated.
