I just put in my two weeks at my construction job, and the atmosphere has turned really sour. My coworkers, who I once considered like family, are treating me poorly now that they know I'm leaving. I don't want to endure this for two more weeks, especially with the risk of getting hurt while dealing with their antics. I'm thinking of telling my boss that I can leave a week early, making this Friday my last day instead. I'm starting an apprenticeship soon, and honestly, at 21, I feel a bit lost without much guidance on how to handle this situation.
