I recently accepted a senior-level job offer from a company I found on LinkedIn. I was really excited about it and enjoyed meeting the CEO and the team during the interview process. However, shortly after accepting the offer, I received a much better opportunity for a Vice President position at another company. This new role comes with significantly better pay, a company car, housing support, and even educational assistance for my child. It's a huge career advancement for me. Now, I'm in a bit of a dilemma. Since I haven't started at the first company yet, I'm wondering if I can back out of the initial offer without it being considered a breach of contract. Has anyone else faced a similar situation? I could really use some advice on how to handle this.
