  1. 1

I recently left my job after three years, feeling like my new manager forced me out without actually firing me. I had always received solid feedback and never faced issues until this new manager came on board. Suddenly, I was excluded from meetings I used to attend, micromanaged over minor details, and given unrealistic deadlines. When I sought guidance, I was met with vague advice like "be more proactive," which left me feeling confused and frustrated. There were no formal complaints or write-ups; it felt like a slow, calculated shift to make me uncomfortable enough to quit. I finally handed in my notice last week and have already secured a new role that pays better, which reassures me that I wasn't the problem. However, I can't shake the feeling that this was all intentional, as if they wanted me out but didn't want to deal with the paperwork. Has anyone else experienced something similar? Or am I just trying to rationalize my struggle with a difficult boss?
