I recently applied for unemployment benefits in Oregon and I'm feeling anxious about my claim. I worked at a company for a year as part of a training program, but it ended when my year was up and I didn't secure a permanent position there. My second job was as a seasonal canvasser, which I only held for about three weeks. I had some scheduled shifts but had to call out due to back pain and ultimately decided it wasn't the right fit for me. They let me go after three weeks, which I understand. This is my first time applying for unemployment, and I'm worried that my claim might be denied since I technically quit my second job. I'm currently filling out the questionnaire regarding my most recent job and I'm unsure if my previous year-long position will be considered. I really need this support as I'm struggling to find a new job and bills are piling up. I'm hoping for some guidance on whether there's a chance my claim could be approved.
