Seeking advice to improve my resume for retail job applications

I’m currently searching for my first retail job, but I’ve been facing a lot of rejections. I’ve tailored my resume for each application, but I’m starting to wonder if there’s something fundamentally wrong with it. I’ve never had a job before, so I don’t have any experience to draw from. I included my high school attendance and GPA, but I’ve been told that those details are irrelevant for retail positions. Some comments suggested I should remove those and focus on quantifiable achievements instead. I’m also considering reworking my personal summary to be more aligned with retail roles. I’ve been advised to highlight the skills mentioned in job descriptions and to simplify my resume to better fit the expectations of retail employers. I’m feeling a bit lost and would appreciate any further advice on how to improve my resume to land a retail job.
