    Applied to a Job Feeling Thinking

    I really dislike Workday. I've applied for a couple of roles as I'm anticipating being laid off soon. After going through about 849 rejections before landing my current role last year, I'm pretty much fine with rejection at this point. However, what really frustrates me is receiving an obviously AI-generated rejection email at 12:05 a.m., stating that they are moving on to other candidates. It feels like absolute BS that I was filtered out for being over 40 and rejected based on that. I know I’m a perfect match for the role. It's hard to believe they are actually reviewing resumes at that hour. It just feels dishonest.

    Feeling Thinking

    I’m currently feeling uneasy about my job situation at my company, which is undergoing significant executive changes. Although I received a positive performance review recently, I can’t shake the feeling that I might be laid off soon. Just last week, I was given conflicting feedback regarding my review, which ultimately turned out well, but I can’t help but wonder if it was just a way to keep me satisfied until the inevitable happens. I’m not in a position to know about layoffs in advance, but my intuition is telling me something isn’t right. Has anyone else experienced this kind of gut feeling that later turned out to be accurate, even when there were no clear signs, like being left out of meetings I usually attend?
