I recently received a job offer from a shipping company called Load Voyage LLC, supposedly from a person named Alan McDonald. The offer promised $4000 within 30 days after shipping the first item, and then $1000 every Friday thereafter. The role involved relabeling shipped items and reshipping them. At first glance, their website seemed almost legitimate, but something felt off. After doing some research, I discovered that this is a common scam linked to stolen item laundering or outright theft from bank accounts. The company uses various email addresses that sound like typical names, but the CEO, Paul Elano, has been flagged as a scammer multiple times by the Better Business Bureau. This experience has reinforced the idea that if a job offer seems too good to be true, it probably is a scam.
