I recently received an offer from a start-up that I signed, but it was contingent on them closing a funding round. Since then, I've been invited to work meetings, and it seems like everyone else they hired under the same conditions is also participating. I'm feeling a bit confused about the situation, as I thought I was supposed to wait until the funding was secured before getting involved. I'm not sure how to navigate this, as I want to be professional but also want clarity on my role.
