I had a phone interview on Monday for a position I was really excited about. The interviewer seemed engaged, and at the end of the call, she mentioned that I would hear about the next steps by Tuesday. I followed up around 3 PM on Tuesday to express my availability, and she replied positively, saying she would have updates by the next day. However, Wednesday came and went with no news, and the same happened on Thursday. Now it's Friday, and I'm feeling pretty discouraged. Should I reach out again today, or is it better to wait until next week? I've seen some comments suggesting that it might be a holiday week and that I shouldn't expect quick responses, but I'm anxious about the silence.
