Almost immediately, I received a direct message from them asking me to text or call a number for more information. I figured it was just an automated response, so I texted the number. Later that evening, they replied, suggesting I call them when I was available to talk. This whole situation felt off to me. Typically, I expect the employer to initiate the call based on their schedule, not the other way around, especially since I'm the one seeking employment. I'm starting to wonder if this could be a scam. I know people often warn against applying for jobs through sites like Indeed, but many small clinics don’t have their own application portals. I’m feeling a bit skeptical about the whole process and wondering if I should just ignore this opportunity.
