I recently applied for a gym job and went in person to drop off my application. It's been two days, and I'm considering going back to ask for an update on my application status. However, I'm worried that it might annoy the manager. I want to show my interest, but I also don't want to come off as pushy. I've heard mixed advice; some say a follow-up phone call would be better than showing up in person again. I'm trying to figure out the best approach to take without overstepping.
