Applied at NewDayUSA for intern

I recently completed a week-long internship at NewDayUSA, and I have to say, it felt more like a scam than a legitimate opportunity. As a student eager to gain experience, I thought this would be a great chance, but the reality was quite different. The work culture was intimidating, and the hours were absurdly long. I remember one day when the supervisor boasted about his paycheck without mentioning anything about the actual job responsibilities. It seemed like the focus was more on making money off of veterans through home loans rather than providing a meaningful internship experience. I noticed that many interns were quitting within three months due to the exhausting hours and the pressure to sell aggressively. It felt like they were exploiting young professionals who were just trying to get a foot in the door. They even celebrated when someone recruited a new intern, which struck me as odd. I really feel for anyone who gets sucked into this situation.
