I recently learned that my current job, where I've been for the past 2.5 years, does not comply with e-verify, which is causing issues in my job search. I've been interviewing at various tech companies, but they can't verify my employment because they won't contact my supervisor directly, and the main line for my company also can't confirm my employment. This is particularly frustrating since this job is my only relevant experience in the tech field, aside from a brief internship that ended poorly, which I prefer not to mention. I'm reaching out to see if anyone knows of tech companies that hire employees without requiring e-verify for past jobs. Any leads would be greatly appreciated.
