I recently found myself in a tough financial situation after damaging my car, which forced me to spend my entire savings on repairs. As a college student, I usually juggle two part-time jobs, but now I'm struggling to make ends meet. I'm eager to move out, but I have to wait until I transfer schools next fall. Thankfully, my state offers free community college, which has helped me save money for the first couple of years. However, this recent car accident has set me back significantly. Currently, I work a 6am shift at a retail store, but I've had to cut down my hours due to the severe impact on my mental health. The lack of sleep was taking a toll on me, and I found myself too exhausted to enjoy any social life. Now, I'm on the lookout for legitimate remote jobs that I can do from home or any low-stress jobs that can provide decent income. I'm starting to wonder if it's unrealistic to expect such opportunities in this economy, or if I just need to push through and work harder for a while.
