I've been unemployed since September of last year due to finishing my last year of university and dealing with visa issues. I have 1.4 years of experience as a receptionist and secretary in a polyclinic, which I hope will help me as I transition into HR. I want to familiarize myself with the labor laws in my country and also revamp my CV. I've heard about the Andy Warthog template but would appreciate any other recommendations. Additionally, I'm considering obtaining a professional certificate like SHRM-CP and learning more about HRMS and HR processes to strengthen my profile. It's important for me to find a good job since I will need to transfer my visa to the position I secure, and I don't want to settle for anything less than an entry-level HR role with a decent salary and benefits.
