I’ve been feeling a bit lost in my job search lately. I used to rely heavily on LinkedIn and Indeed for finding marketing positions, especially since I have a background in marketing and college admissions. However, it seems like these platforms have become oversaturated, and I’m struggling to find relevant job postings. I’m looking to pivot away from sales roles, which adds to the challenge. I’ve heard some suggestions from others that applying directly through company websites can yield better results. I’m considering setting up an AI agent to monitor specific companies' career pages and notify me of new listings. I’ve also been experimenting with ZipRecruiter, which has been more effective for me than Indeed lately. The issue with Indeed is that it seems to prioritize paid listings, often drowning out the relevant positions I’m searching for. I’m curious if anyone else has found success with newer job posting sites or has tips on how to navigate this changing landscape. It feels like I’m not alone in this struggle, as many marketers seem to be in the same boat.
