I had an interview on Thursday, the 30th, and was told I would hear back by the following Tuesday. When I didn't receive any response, I decided to follow up with an email the next Thursday, but still got no reply. Feeling a bit anxious, I called the recruiter and found out that a manager was on vacation. The HR person seemed surprised to hear from me, which made me think they might not have received my email. Now I'm questioning whether my follow-up was too pushy or if I crossed any boundaries.
