I recently found myself in a bizarre situation after I put in my notice at my job. I was working in a role that just wasn't meeting my needs in terms of pay and hours, so I decided it was time to move on. I gave my boss a reasonable notice period, planning to leave at the end of the month, and even offered to help find my replacement. However, instead of accepting my notice, my boss terminated me immediately. I thought that was the end of it, but this morning I received a text from them offering me my job back.
