I just experienced a layoff from Comcast after 18 years with the company. I held various roles and was involved in starting and organizing multiple employee resource groups, yet I was let go without warning. The layoffs hit hard this week, especially in my region, where almost all employees were affected. Many departments faced significant reductions, and it feels like a gut punch to see so many coworkers, some with over 30 years of service, treated as if they are worth nothing. It's disheartening to be blindsided like this, and there were no WARN notices issued, leaving us until December 31 to figure things out.
