I recently started my job search and decided to track my outreach efforts. I sent out 300 applications, but I was shocked to receive only 4 replies. It feels disheartening, especially since I've seen so many others share similar experiences. I thought I was doing everything right, but the low response rate is really discouraging. It seems like nobody really prepares you for this reality when you're looking for a job.
