I was working as a project manager at a financial institution on a 6-month contract that was supposed to end in early January. Today, I received the unfortunate news that my contract is being terminated earlier than expected, this month, due to budget constraints. I'm feeling quite down about it, as I had plans and dreams for the remaining two months of my contract. Now, I only have two weeks left to wrap things up.
