I've been job hunting for a mid-level role for the past 4 months, and honestly, I'm feeling mentally exhausted. I've sent out over 50 applications, tailored my experience, and spent countless hours tweaking my resume and cover letters, but it's been a frustrating experience. I either get ghosted after multiple interview rounds, which feels especially cruel, or I receive automated rejection emails just minutes after submitting my application. The whole hiring process feels like a black box; I put so much effort into my materials, only to realize that a bot likely scanned them for a few seconds before discarding them due to a missing keyword. It makes me question if the job market is truly this broken or if it's just me. I'm reaching my breaking point and would love to hear how others are coping with this situation.
