I recently lost my job as a French teacher when the school I worked at closed permanently without any clear reason. This unexpected change has left me in a bit of a dilemma. On one hand, I was looking to transition out of traditional school teaching and into a different role, preferably still within the educational field. On the other hand, I have been offering private French classes to adults, which provides some financial support, but it's not enough to cover all my expenses. I also teach Farsi, but those classes are infrequent. With my expertise in languages and no background in IT or other sectors, I'm considering launching my own language school. However, I'm hesitant because I'm unsure of its potential success. The current job market is challenging, and the thought of being unemployed for an extended period is quite stressful. I'm reaching out for advice: have any of you gone through something similar? Do you think starting a language business is a viable option, or should I focus on finding another job first? Any insights would be greatly appreciated!
