I'm currently in a tough spot and need to move to a place with more job opportunities that don't require a degree. I had to drop out of college because the job market was so challenging, but I've become quite skilled at landing jobs. I'm looking for recommendations on states or cities where I can find a lot of work without a degree. It feels like my future depends on this decision. Some people suggested that large cities like NYC and California have many jobs, but the cost of living is really high. Others mentioned that while big cities might offer jobs, the pay for positions that don't require degrees often isn't enough to live on. I'm also considering trades or medical tech jobs that I could get certified for at a community college. I'm open to any suggestions, even unconventional ones like working on a fishing boat in Alaska for better pay.
