I am a software developer with 2 years of experience, currently working in a healthy environment in Gujarat, India. I consider myself one of the top employees at my company, but I'm passively looking for new job opportunities since I can't relocate due to my parents' age and lack of support in the area. I've noticed that there aren't many big companies in Gujarat, and I sometimes feel that my name might be a factor in job rejections, despite my skills being superior to those of my teammate who also applied for a similar position. I'm starting to look for remote jobs or opportunities in Mumbai, but I'm unsure if my assumptions about the job market are accurate. I'm also focused on expanding my skillset to make myself more competitive.
